Broke Short Shaft

Last night at Redline it was hot and humid, which is bad for any good track times. First pass Chris (SPD DMN) and I went against each other. I couldn't figure out the line lock so I didn't do much of a burn out. I did manage to get a 1.90 60' and run a 7.90 @ 91 something I think) aganist Chris 8.3 @ (can't remember the mph). This was on Nitto DR's with 18 psi and a 3000 launch. It really showed a difference when I shift at 6700 rpm instead of 6100 like the last time Chris and I raced. I was actually pulling on him this time.
Second pass Chris and I do it again. This time I was calm and did a great burn out. I launched at 3500 this time and BOOM! :mad nothing. car didn't move. Had to go get the trailer and tow the car to LG's lucky for me they are there all the time. (Thanks Lou) Dropped the car off at 11:00 pm last night with the help of forum members Ben (sorry I don't know your last name) and Steve Barlow who also raced with us last night and helped load the car.
We thought it was the hardened output shaft, but it was the short shaft on the passenger side. This is what makes me go hum. I have the DTE Brace, Harden Output Shaft, Stock Clutch, Nitto 315 /17 DR's (18psi) with only a 1.9? 60' and with a low 3500 launch. Doh! how does this happen????? Does anyone make a hardened short shaft ????????
Thanks
