Default Need Help With Diff Leak Problem!!

My 2000 Coupe has a a leak on the drivers side diff cover. My warranty is up so I have to make the repair my slef. Well this is where I'm at everything is off and I'm down to the diff cover. Note the diff is still in the car there is a stud that goes into the trany and the cover "WTF" how do you get the stud out to get the cover off. You dont have to much room in that area to work with. Has anyone done this repair befor any tips for a first timer....

Got any pics? The only stud in the area I can think of, is the one at the bottom of the tranny. There's a nut on the diff side of it. I'm pretty sure that doesn't affect the cover though...

That nut is a pain anyway. 15mm gear wrench helps.

I can take a pic for you to look at the stud goes thru to the diff cover into the tranny there is one on each side of the diff in each cover it has to be removed to get the cover off to replace the o ring in there. So I'm not sure how to get it out.

If you've pulled all of the bolts, and you remove the nut from the stud, can you just pull the cover out sideways?
