Default gas leak 2004

I have a new 2004 C5 vette and I can smell gas even while driving. After I park I can smell gas for several days. No gas leas on garage floor, etc...in other words...nothing obvious....any ideas

There is one on the rack at the local dealer with the same issue. The Tech has been told by GM that the sending unit is not a perfect fit and that some tanks are damaged by this on the assembly line. He is waiting for a new tank to be delivered by GM. They told him they would have to send one from Bowling Green. Sounds like this may be your problem, as well. Good luck.

My friend had a chronic fuel odor. Dealer found failed leaking O-ring in a pressure pulsator, whatever that is. I don't know since I have a carb on my Vette.
