Default What`s new at the 2004 LS1 engine?

Two weeks ago i got a new engine in my C5 because the old one needed too much oil.

Now we made some mods and saw that the head bolts M11 are all the same length.

Do you know why and are there other differences?
Does it it make any benefit?

My 160 thermostat of the 2001 engine doesn`t fit too.
Do you know where i can find a one for this engine?

Greetings from hotparts

Apparently the '04 uses a thermostat design moved forward from the C6, I think I've seen some vendors saying they have the new style model but I can't say for sure who it was, sorry.

I read on this forum that the 350 horse engines use the intake manifold from the LS 6, is this true?

That's been true since '01 I believe... at least since '02.
