Anyone modify their LS1 to the LS6 PCV system as described in LS1 how to? Is it a worth while mod? Any noticable decrease in oil comsumption? Thinking about doing this when I do a head/cam swap. Thanks for your inputs !

I believe Patches had a thread on this recently with pics. Also...hopefully your 2001 has the LS6 block, if not, you will need to modify it a bit. GM switched to the LS6 block sometime in 2001 so some have it and some don't......
I haven't run mine enough to be able to tell if the setup is doing it's job. I already had a catch can that was eliminating most of the oil in the intake. I did the valley cover conversion because I figured it would help to eliminate even more.
Not a very big pic but you can see the boss that needs to be cut down a bit on an LS1 block (left). That boss is not present on a Z06 block (right).
