been here before but with the archived threads still being moved over....anyway when I turn the lights off i get that "running grinding sound AFTER the lights are down.....so is it a bad module?? I believe thats what I read before...I know its not the gear because I have BTDT and know that fix.
I had that same exact symptom and it was the gear. You can get brass upgrade gears fairly cheap from forum vendors. If you want to replace the entire module - Eckler's is a lot cheaper than dealers for that.
