I have been contemplating welding a small support on my LH headers. I have no crack, and dont want any...I need to know just how many of LG owners have had this problem, or should I even worry about it....this couild easily be done with a mig welder, and a small piece of bar stock,,,while on the car. I would unhook the battery and ground at the header....think I should proceed or leave well enough alone. I am a good welder....

I don't know when you bought your set, but LG got Borla to beef up the area around the air tube. I have a set with the re-design, so they told me that it wouldn't be a problem.
If yours doesn't have the brace for the air tubes then you should go ahead and make one to weld on. Mine broke and I had to remove the header to have it fixed. I guess the material stretches after bending because mine was less than .030" thick where it broke. Better safe than sorry in my opinion.
Mine are also non supported ones...I am going to just cut the passenger side metal air tube and replace a section of it with some hose, that should take any strain off the header connection. Seems like the drivers side should be ok as there is alot of flex in that connection.

LG's tubes are paper thin. Best to check all welds.
I guess I am ahead of the game and did not know it, as sweetcharity replied about cutting the air tube and installing a hose to help , I have done this already....I may be ok...
