Default Main Studs
Is it true that when you use main studs you need to have it line honed even on a new block?

Need more info than that, your question doesnt make sense. You always have to use main studs on an engine.

I mean when you go from factory bolts to ARP main studs, I have read on other fourms that the studs clamp the cap differant and makes the cap out of round, and needing to be line honed.

No the factory uses bolts not studs, studs are after market
