Help with MAF mods/programming
I just installed a stock Z06 MAF on my 99 coupe which also relocated the temp sensor from the air bridge to the MAF. Now I am having problems with erratic idling. It usually now idles high when I first start it up (like 1200 -1500) then drops down to a more normal idle of around 800, but sometimes idle jumps back up later.
Do I need to have something changed in my ECM programming to use the Z06 MAF? The guy who programmed my box did not think this was needed when I previously asked him about it. Anyone have experience with ths?

Have you tried driving the car for a hundred miles or so? I am not sure if that will help, but sometimes the computer needs to adjust itself to the different air/ fuel mixture that it is measuring.
