Default Heads by Monday

I want to purchase a set of heads and cam by Monday.

I am looking at the the following:

Patriot Perimeter heads stage 2

TEA 5.3 heads stage 1.5

The TEA heads flow a little better then the Patriots. Has anyone had good or bad experiences with either brand?

Are both product so close that is does not really matter?

The AFR heads seem to be superior when it comes to air flow.

Which heads are better, Patriot or TEA?

I appreciate any feed back.

The Patriot perimeter bolt heads are $999 now. That is unbeatable. But they are an LS1 design as opposed to other superior LS6 castings. You just have to decide if 10 cfm is worth a grand to you.

Thats the $1000 questions that I need some help with. Are the TEA heads better then the Patriot? Is there any reason to go withs the TEA over the Patriots?

Do you get more bang for your buck with the AFR?

I bought the LS6 Patriots.. So far they seem great.. No dyno yet but there is a big time "seat of the pants" increase..

I've had no problems in almost 8500 miles with my Patriot heads. I've got the 6.0 liters, but none the less it's been a good purchase for me.

Why did you decide to go with the 6.0 liter?

I'm very happy with my Patriot 5.3L Stage II Racing Heads (larger REV valves, Patriot Gold Double Springs, etc.) CNC and Hand Ported for less than the TEA - plus NO core charge. I'm not knocking the TEA though - they are another great option as well as the Absolute Speed heads.

I'd planned on going bigger and better displacement in the next year or so
