Broken rear wheel stud...questions.
What size is the hub nut? 30mm? And of course, the torque setting?
Once I get the nut off, will there be any surprises? My idea was to take off the hub and punch out the old stud, and pull the new one through. But, I have no clue what things will look like once I get the hub nut off.
Any other information would be appreciated. Thanks!

Just drill a hole in the e-brake backing plate, you will have to drill it close to the bearing plate to knock out the stud. I opened up mine to about 7/8 inch to wiggle it out. Used a drimmel tool. Jack up the rear end, put in neutral and spin the shaft were you want to alaign the broken stud with the hole. Took about 1 hour to replace the stud. Don't worry about the hole. I covered mine with a piece of plastic from a coffee can lid, and some super glue. Been there a year.
