Ok my c5 drives great no noises at all in any driving condition exept one. When im making a left or right turn it makes a clunking noise. not clunk clunk clunk clunk, but just when i hit a bump and only a bump big or small it makes a clunk. and i can re-enact it by opening the hatch and griping the sides of the car and shaking it back and forth. what do we have here!?!?!
I have no clue

Totaly forgot i took the z06 ti exhaust off the car so i hade to move around the rear sway bar and thats when the clunk started, but i triple checked that and its torqued to spec trust me.

THere was a thread on this earlier. Try search. Something about a panel behind the passenger seat. Pull up the carpet off the vertical wall and there is a panel there that flexes. Don't know how to fix it but you can see if that is the problem
Just reread your post and caught the 2nd part. If it didn't start until you moved the sway bar, maybe it is hitting something when it flexes. The previous owner of my car had the exact same thing happen to him and that was the problem.
ok i drove around for a bit with the music off. And i think i figured it out when im on the brakes and i come to a stop it makes a sound. and then when i first ingage the clutch it makes a clunk. So does it make sense that maybe i didnt get those dang bolts tight enough and the lower A arm is shifting back and forth. i mean i used an impact maybe does it have to be an exact spec cause I'v herd the c5's are a bit fussy.
