access to pcm?

what is the best way to get at the ecm? i have my nx kit installed and have to hook up my msd window switch to the #10 pin .i phoned msd and they said 97-02 vettes should be that pin. i have it wired to the white wire on the left of the steering column and it doesn't work. msd tech said it has to be connected to the ecm #10 pin to read the signal properly? thanks.

You can get to it inside the car in a couple of places. Apparently the white wire you chose was not the tach wire. You can try again and find it amongst the wires in that bundle. I tapped into it in the passenger footwell just over the fuse box and BCM.
