well i left my car for about 30 minutes...when i returned i noticed my aproach lights did not come on, when unlocked with the key remote. However the door did unlock i then got inside to find none of my interior lights to be working....i then heard the horrible...EEEEEEeeeEEEEEEEEeEEEEEEeEEEE EEeEEHhhhhhhhhh....sound of a short .....i noticed the fuel pump/courtesey light micro relays were the ones responsible for the noise...however i feel this is not the case but a clue.....[important] the stock battery on my corvette, i was told was way too small for my car...in conclusion the battery was being overcharged by the alternator causing it to swell does anyone else have this problem, how did chevy not catch this?. anyways we tried jumping it to bypass the battery still no luck ....wow i dont know any advice will be greatly appreciated......

What, packing in too many electrons???
Sounds to me like its time for a new battery. Lots of little electrical gremlins happen when the battery goes South. Get one that is big enough this time...
If I were u I would make sure the battery isnt leaking if it is GET IT OUT ASAP THE BATTERY ACID HAS BEEN KNOWN TO RUIN THE COMPUTERS AND THERE WIREING SO CHECK THE BATTERY ASAP
