Default Stock Cam Specs for 2001 LS1?

Ughh... I can't seem to find the stock specs for this cam. I find bits and pieces but never a whole picture. Anyone have them available?

Thanks

This info is from "Chevy LS1/LS6 Performance." 2001 was the first year that Y and F bodies used the same cam. The specs are:

lift .479/.467 duration 207/196 LSA 116

The same cam is used in all 01 and up LS1s.

Admittedly, I'm quoting from the book I referenced above, but it says that after 00, the cam was downgraded to the specs I already gave, but agrees with your other info, with respect to vettes.

Dunno if I would classify that as a downgrade. A minor reduction in duration, but a significant increase in lift.

So in the 01 year, if you got an LS1 with one of the LS6 intakes, you weren't too far from the LS6 in power.

Good info!

Okay now I'm confused... this contradicts the above info. I thought the lift went DOWN in '01 and the LSA UP. Almost looks like he has the '97-99 and '00-'02 backwards. Plus I thought it was '01 where they made the change along with the LS6 intake. Hmmm...

Conflicting info. As I said, I'm only quoting "Chevy LS1/LS6 Performance" so I can't positively swear it's accurate, but all the other info except 01-04 LS1s agrees with y2k02c5. Take your pick. It's been said that the LS6 intake is worth 10-15 HP, along with the freer flowing exhaust manifolds (same as LS6 on 01 and up LS1s), so that might jive with a slightly smaller cam and a total 5 HP increase.
