help with manual trans. removal
i have a 2000 6-speed trans. the trans grinds when going into reverse i can hold it in reverse the car will back up. if i don't hold it in it will jump out of gear.does anyone know what the problem is? tried to adjust shifter didn't help. if i have to pull the trans where can i get a copy of a manual?

Pull the rear end and simply remove the reverse gear housing to access

this is happyour again i have the problem with my reverse gear in my 2000 6-speed all other gears are fine. do you think it's the shifter fork or the syncro or both i was getting ready to remove both trans and rear end i need help in knowing what to remove and what to loon for i have directions for removing a auto trans but not a manual. thanks . and i wanted to thank for all the help you gave me on the vacuum hoses under the battery saved me from replacing the air pump
