Thanks to Matt and everyone who posted instructions on changing the door switch bulbs to leds. I went with the blue ones and it looks awesome! I will try to get some pictures posted later this week.
There ought to be a law, you post a tantalizing post and not only do you not post photos with all the specifics, but you say you'll be back later in the week.
Come on man, I just finished my last mod yesterday, 24 hours is a long time to go and not start planning my next mod.
Sorry I have not been back out in a while and no photos. I have been on a short computer leash lately. I am on vacation this week, but will get some photos and have them posted by Monday I promise. I did get the LED's and resistors from lsdiodes.com and enough for two cars was $12 and that included shipping. Stay clear from radio shack, they were very expensive for these items. tjw, thanks for posting the location of the instructions.
I sent you an IM. In simple terms each lead of the bulb is routed through the sides of the socket. When you replace the bulb with an LED, you need to put the resistor on the positive side of the LED (Long LED wire) and then route the resistor lead through the one side of the socket, then the negative LED lead thorugh the other side of the socket.

THANKS. THAT CLEARS UP ANY CONFUSION I HAD. TOO MANY MODS, TOO LITTLE TIME......
Looks awesome. I have no idea how these would work, is there a write up you referenced somewhere? I'd like to get this done to my Z to match the Cobalt gauges.
