Frame question
Posted this in C5General, but perhaps it's more appropriate here:
I've noticed these spots on my frame, on both front sides near the suspension. In the pic you can see the black area that I wiped clean, and the bright silver colored spot in the middle of the clean area. Looks like the top black layer is peeling.
There is absolutely no sign of any rust, or damage to the frame.
Does anyone else have this? I haven't seen it near the rear suspension.

The inner fender wells are glued to the frame with a thick epoxy. Looks like a glob of this has dropped away leaving the bear spots. This is not a problem. You might spray some black paint on the bare spots to prevent rust.
