So you've probably seen a "suspension" post by me before. I'm trying to learn something else now so I'd appreciate any knowledge I can obtain from all of you in my quest to have the best street/freeway handling (where handling includes grip, feel and comfort) car. And lets put tires aside (I have funflats) as they were quite comfortable on a F45 equipped car.
1) I'm trying to figure out what effect shocks that are too stiff (stiffer than Bilstein sports) would have on a car that's only driven on the street. The shocks are part of a coilover setup. I'd like to see if what's said here reflects what I'm feeling. Mind you I drive in Southern California where streets and freeways range from good to bad quality.
2) What will I notice if the shocks on my car are very stiff and the springs are relatively softer?
