I have 2004 with 13,000 miles. Driven weekly but not daily. Just went to start it tonight and battery was dead. I just drove it less than a week ago. What gives?
I have done it too. Get a deep cycle yellow top Optima battery because when you run it down completly, you ruin it. But the Optima will come right back and never leak down on your computer. Also get a Battery Tender (or similar charger) to keep the battery charged fully. Don't just trickle it because you will overcharge it, use a smart charger. Mine is in storage but battery stays at 100% at all times.

Not unusual, especially for cars not driven daily. My stock battery went dead at 14,000 miles and was a weekly or less driver. Now I have a red top Optima, it does quite well.

Welcome to the bi-weekly driver's club! Time to get yourself a battery maintainer. I own two and they are both from Walmart (the cheapest source out there).
