HUD shift light
My HUD projector seems to have a shift light in it but it never seems to illuminate. Is there something in the PCM to tell this light when to come on? I've searched all over hptuners to see if I could find anything out about this shift light and I came up empty handed. Has anyone with a HUD actually had this light come on?

When I do a burnout at the track and bang the rev limiter it comes on, I've never seen it while driving though....

The shift light is small and hard to see as it is between the tach bar and speed. RPM also comes up so fast in 1st and 2nd you likely don't have time to register it before you hit the rev limiter. On the track, I see it in 3rd all the time as the approach to redline is slower.
If you want to see it, take a controlled approach to redline vice WOT.
