Default Z06 vs. C5 Exhaust pipe differences Question

Does anybody know if the exhaust pipes that come out of the mufflers to the tips are the same size on the Z06 and the other C5's? I know the tips are different, I just need to know if the pipes are as well. If they are, does anyone know what the size difference is? I am looking at ordering an exhaust filler panel, but the company that sells it does not know if it will work on the Z's. If there is a difference, they are willing to custom make one for me based on the exhaust pipe differences. Thanks in advance!

I think they are the same. However, my 2 cents... I had one of those exhaust plates that go around the exhaust and it constantly loosened up and rattled something awful. Not the bolts coming loose, but over time the vibration of the exaust wore away some of the plate making it loose. I wound up putting shims in to stop the rattling. Since then I use the kind that are taped on. West Coast sells a very nice billet alluminum one that looks as good as the wrap around style IMHO.

No mine were like these: http://www.madvet.com/shop?frame=1.39.6113 I can't tell from your picture how yours attach so its hard to tell if they would have the same problem.

This one does not mount around the pipes to allow it to loosen up like the problem you described. The reason I need to know about the exhaust pipe size is to see if the cutouts for the exhaust pipes will fit or if they need to be larger.
Thanks!

I just did the Ti exhaust mod. My C5 Billit plate bolted right on there the same as it was on stock exhaust. So I say pipes are same size. Obviously the Ti has big round tips!!
