A lot of the rx-7 guys use it because of the extreamely hot running rotary engine. They say it works well, though I havent had any first hand experience. You could try looking around the rx7 forum

I use Redline waterwetter in my C4, temperatures dropped over 20 degrees to mid 170's after use.

We could not run our sportbikes on the track with radiator fluid- if spilt it leaves the track surface too slick. Everyone said run distilled water and Red line water wetter- it worked. If it got hot from idling in TX heat or traffic, it actually cooled down quicker.

I use distilled water and Water Wetter and it lowered my temps by about 10-15 degrees.

Stan we use to use it in the race car. I never saw any cooler temps but it was a legal additive. They don't want anti freeze because of it's slick properties when puked out on the track.

By the way you have mail...

Stano,
long time no see...yes, water wetter is compatible with your water and anti-freeze. I run it in the Nomad. Can't say it helps, but the Nomad doesn't overheat either. From what I've read it is more effective with straight water (distilled preferred). Good luck and drop me a line, let me know what you've been up to.

Works if you are running just water.

Well at "least" a beer drinker would have an endless supply of coolant then.

That is incorrect. It breaks the surface tension of water, preventing it from "sticking" so to speak to the internal engine passages, thereby flowing more effiecently and in turn removing heat better. There was a great post on the stuff about a year back, but all I know is that it works. It is not my imagination that my temps dropped.

Soap does the same thing, but I wouldn't put it in my radiator.

40 Below by Pro Blend works much better. I've used it for years.
The new Evans water pump and their special waterless coolant is supposed to work well too. I'm just starting to experiment with that.
I fit Spal fans into the stock shrouds on my big motors. They REALLY pull some air. It takes a little fabrication but they will fit.

it's a water softener...... thats how it works, use distilled and your coolant, if that doesn't do it there are other problems in the system
