From the picture I have, the Horn Relay Control is in the Bdoy Control Module (BCM).
What are your horns doing? Or, not doing?
There's a horn relay in the Underhood Fuse Block, and also a HORN fuse in the same fuse box.
Jeff
horn doesnt work on the steering wheel, does work with fob set and alarm.
is there much of a area on the horn pad itself? to feel?
i dont know about the pad. this wasnt working when i bought it and the previous owner / dealer said horn module relay thing, about 75$ and 45 min.?
got some good info back already
ill most likely go to the dealer. sounds more involved than i thought.
nothing old school about these c5s.
Don, the relay is #36 in the underhood fuse box with minifuse #11 for the horn right next to it. The manual lists a tool to pull the relay but I'm sure you can manage. I'll send that info to your email.
ok....
pulled fuse, test ok
pulled relay and test ok but what the heck, could be when i jiggled it out, it tweeked and now its working.
new relay $14, still no horn. looks like the module in the steering wheel.

If I'm not mistaken, the only thing in the steering wheel besides the airbag is the horn contact switch(s). The Horn Relay Control is in or by the Body Control Module (BCM) which is under the footwell access panel on the passenger side of the car.
Good Luck,
Jeff
