Jason,

Since you are pulling the pistons anyways to change the rings how much would the short block cost if I wanted to change the pistons to a dished one giving around a 9:1 compression ratio?

I would give you my stock block.

It would probably be better to put together a new one for that application. The balancing charges & all would make it way more cost effective to build the shortblock from scratch. Or you could put 6.0l heads on these pistons to drop compression

Good Point!

I had not thought of that. I am still trying to decide what to do.

Stick with the stock cubes and keep the stock crank but use forged pistons and rods with good rod bolts. Stud the mains and possibly use billet main caps. The other thought is go all forged and make it a 383.

My intention is to use A&A's ATI D1 on a stock cube motor or possibly the F1-R on the stroker.
