Default a4 gear change
i live about 100 miles from dallas , and i am looking for a gear change for my 1999 a4 , think i need a new tc as well ,,, does anyone know of a good shop in the dallas area i can contact to do this kind of work.

this is what i found on lg motorsports website was
SLP-64060 Transaxle, 3.42 Assembly For 1997-04 Corvette 995.00.

would i need a new torque converter or will the stock one work..

stock one will work; but if your plans are to eventually upgrade the TC... do it all at the same time. It'll save you a lot of money doing them together.

John Page @ 21st Cent is the best on C5's in Dallas, Jeff @ Corvettes of Dallas did a great hook up on 3.73's and speedo correction on my C4.
