Help! ElectroChromatic Mirror Upgrade
I searched the forum and found litttle info. I followed the instructions from the C5Forum on putting an electro mirror in my 99. I got it in and works except for the courtesy lights in whole car are are dead, but the I can turn the map lights on manually. I swapped the two orange leads with no effect. As I understand it org1 in 12+, org2 is ??, BLK is GRND and BRN is 12+ when headlgihts are on. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanx, Jeff

Got it all worked out, was as simple as a blown fuse. The hard part was GM was so nice to mark the fuse as diagnostic in the owners manual and it was labeled something to the affect of CLDL, so I assumed it was the column lock drive, bad choice I know. Anyway Patches was kind enough to e-mail me the schematic for the courtsey lights and I was able to find that the 29 fuse was the one I needed and it was indeed blown. Put in a new one and Voila! light. Many thanks to Patches
