I'd like to know about that size as well.. I'm considering 20x11 rears with 305/25-20's, but I'm a little leery living in the midwest (land of the potholes). I'm also concerned about ride quality. Anybody out there ridin' on meats that size, or are they just show wheels?????
You can mount a 335 on an 11" wide wheels, but if won't give you thefull contact patch or the traction your looking for. A 335/30/18 needs at least a 12" wide wheel to create the proper contact patch. Use a 315/30/18 on an 11" wide wheel. If you want to run 335s, upgrade to 11.5"-12" wheels.
I have my 335s on the typical ccw 11 1/2" wheel and would love to have them on a 12 but it would stick out and require tubbing, I was hoping for some aftermarket wider rear fenders so I could get John at CCW to put 13" centers in my wheels and run 345s--the only fenders I found had very bad reports as they did not fit well and were a bitch to mount and they also had a wide rim under the fender edge to support the fiber glass and this extended into the wheel well to the point you could not use bigger wheels/tires as they would rub and break the lip--so at this point its either minitub or the ccw 11.5" rears with 335s--
If anyone has pictures of their rear tires mounted on a 11" wheel, I would like to see how they look....I was told by another member that there is a company that will make my 11" wheels to 12" wide for 300.00 a pair.
NeptuneBill you are running 335's on the back of your car without tubbing? On a 11.5'' rear rim? It isnt rubbing anywhere? What is the width of stock rims?
