Yesterday I just installed a new power window motor on the passenger side door and took the car out for a spin to see if the window was sealing ok. The window worked great after spending $240.00 for a new motor and regulators. The worst part was, as I was sitting at a stop light with my turn signals on to make a left hand turn, the turn signals all of the sudden stopped working? I tried everything to get it working again to no avail. A few miles down the road it started working all by itself. I drove the car today and it worked fine all day long until
the end of the evening and it quit working again for about 10 mintues and now it works again? I have a sneaking suspicion that it's in the steering columm....please tell me it ain't so .
Anyone have prior experience with this problem?
Thanks for any info.
Next time push the hazzard button in and out to see if it activates your turn signals. If it does you need to replace hazzard switch. It happened to me and many others on C5's.
