I just pulled the fuse on mine, but I have a '97 so I only lost the reverse light flash when locking my car by remote (plus the added codes in the PCM). As mentioned above, there's a way to rewire the system under the passenger's footwell and is a viable option; they had to do it to meet European laws if I remember correctly, so they do it on the exports but if you send a U.S. spec car overseas, you have to modify it.

Someone ought to do a poll and see how many owners like their DRLs and how many disable them.
Great point about visability and radar targets...Definately going to do something toturn mine off now
