Default Which Blower ??

Just askin Magnusun or Protech ---ups and downs????? ease of installation---heat problems---lotza ideas here choose one . I have a chance to purchase a used Magnusun off a crashed 2001 .
Any input would be appreciated. Not lookin to start a war just good advice.

If the price is good...Grab it. You can always have it upgraded to the intercooled version later. I chose the ATI because I like my stock hood. I'm sure you'll be happy eiher way. But saving money for more mods may make you happier still.

Depends on your long term goals. The Magnusson is a great street blower. Good low end torque. The Procharger is stronger on the top end and has more room to grow. The Magnusson will get you up to the 500HP+ range at best. The Prochargers can go much higher. So if you ever want an 800HP beast you might as well go Procharger now. If you want high end HP.... procharger. If you want point and shoot throttle response and nice power while at highway cruise (under 3K RPM) then go for Mag.

Thank-you bletour2001 for savings me a lot of typing. I agree with everything you said except 500 rwhp on a MagnaCharger.. Personally, I haven't seen any MagnaCharged cars come close to 500 rwhp ( on a Mustang dyno ).

Pro-Charger all the way, d1-sc is the most powerful and reliable blower on the market
