low oil pressure?
i finally got a chance to take the car to the strip last night for her first runs(driven by me at least, used car), and noticed something a little odd. i made 5 passes, on which 2 maybe 3 couldn't quite remember i got a low oil pressure message for a second or less. now it probably seems odd to keep running if i got the message right? well the message was only on a very short while and i looked at the physical gauge and it was around 40(hard to look while racing). anyway, same thing the other time. i checked it out, no leaks or anything...so since the gauge in the gauge cluster was reading 40ish, at least when i saw it do you think there might be something wrong with the sensor or was the pressure actually low but rose again quickly before i could see it? it was around the 1/8 mi. mark i believe, which would make it near the top of 2nd (A4). any input would be appreciated. thanks in advance
