Default Cracked (compression ring or piston ring land), what can cause this?

As title states I am curious what the causes would be for compression ring or piston ring land failure? On a H/C car (for >800 miles), running 11.25:1 CR, >10kmiles total on LS6 engine and never spun over 6800rpm?

Thanks!

Thanks!
Been there before on my other ride, except it was 3 pistons. It's from too much heat, boost, advance, and/or running lean. You may have a bad tune or injector.
