Pressure Sensors
1) do I need to have the schrader valve inside the sensors, or is it okay to leave them out?
2) Is it necessary to silicone the pressure sensors down prior to strapping them?
3) Is there a preffered location for the sensors?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

2. I would recommend a 2 part epoxy as the primary means to secure it to the wheel. I would not recommend silicone. The band is best used as a backup measure.
3. Check with your tire mounter. Mine are mounted in the bead relief (recessed area in the wheel barrel) so as to not have the sensor crush in the event of a flat, but this does present some possible tire mounting issues. My tire guy approved my plan before I took them in to have the tires mounted, and I would suggest you do the same, as your tire installer will likely have a preference so that he can best work around them. Mount them either adjacent to, or 180 degrees from the valvestem on the wheel, so you know in the future where they are in the wheel in the event you need to relearn the sensors with a magnet.

Lastly, the size of the wheels doesn't automatically dictate how the sensors need to be mounted. Mine are epoxied in due to the cutom valvestem arrangement of the wheels...but if your wheels use a standard hole through the lip...no reason you can't mount them in the standard fashion. What wheels are you using?

The information will help alot. I've ordered the new iforged FS Classics (in chrome), which are due to arrive next week.
If you can host the pictures for me I'll email them when the wheels are on.
Thanks again
