Default Clutch Slipping

Hi guys, I've got an 02 Z06 with Kooks, GHL's and a trap. I just had my fourth gear synchro done and bought a pair of Nitto's thinking I could hit the track. Well I launched the car at about 3500 today and at first I thought my tires were spinning but they weren't making any noise ( car was still trying to accelerate). When I slowed down I could smell the clutch big time and knew it was time to inquire about a new one. I'm thinking of either putting the Luk Stage 2 (gold series?) or an Exedy single disk w/ aluminum flywheel. I'd also like to know where to get a McCloed adjustable master. I drag race about three times a year at the track but predominately it is used as a daily driver. With respect to pedal effort, durability and clamping power which is the clutch for me? Thanks again guys for your valued input on this.

I believe there is a restriction built into the C-5 clutch slave cylinder to ease the application, so that chevy can avoid driveline warranty claims.
See if your Z-06 has it , so you dont fry the new clutch too.
Many forum folk report drilling out the restriction (someone even had pics) to allow .....well, you know.
