Engine stalled at traffic light stop
Has any 2003 LS1 corvette owner experienced the engine sutting down at a traffic light after only 15 minutes of operation. Before the engine stalled, I filled up with gasoline (union 76) about 10 minutes before it stalled.
The engine started right back up again, it was running alittle rough so I brake revved the engine to increase the idle speed.
Question #2:
What is the correct idle speed in drive for an LS 1 automatic? Can someone help out with this answer. I searched both my owners & factory service manuals with no information found.
Thank you Jim M

Can you instruct me in how to increase my idle speed?
Is it adjustable?
Please advise. Jim Menei

Happened to me several years ago. Got some gas, drove about 5 minutes (just enough time to burn the fuel that was in the fuel lines), and the engine died. Seems I'd pumped about 10 gallons of WATER into my gas tank. The gas station's fuel tank had developed a leak at the tank's filling value and heavy rain during the day had filled the tank with water which, being heavier than gasoline, sank to the bottom of the tanks and was pumped out first.
Ended up with the station paying to replace several fuel system and engine components.
