Default Anyone using the Granatelli Intake??

Hey Guys,
I'm curious if any of you are using a granatelli CAI.

If you have any info for me i would greatly apreciate it.
Did you notice the improvement in power, sound, gas mileage anything?is it a good CAI?
It is priced at about the same as a Blackwing or Halltech, but it is a different design with the two cone system.....

I have it on mine and I like it alot, but I'm thinking about changing it with a Halltech Trap. You do feel, a difference in power and gas milage, but it's nothing major. I've never dynoed it so I really can't tell you much about it. It does look pretty cool though.

I have been looking at it also and can't figure out why it is called a "cold air intake". The filters sit on top of the radiator shroud........in the hot air zone (just like stock system) of the engine bay. If I am incorrect please tell me.

I guess you could cut out some areas under the filters for cooler air to pass to the filters. Just not enough good information found on this type filtration.

"Zip tie" box will work just as well and costs nothing.
