I have a 98 LS1 with a LS6 intake. I am installing a set of LS6 heads and Z06 cam with a LSA of 114 in place of the stock LSA of 117.5.
Is there any difference in the fuel injectors in my LS1 and the Z06, if so is there a benefit in switching and how hard is it to adjust?
Thanks for any help.
I think the '98's have the 28.6 or 28.8# injectors. Z06 have 28.2. The 99-00 had 26.4#, but different pulse width.
So the '98's are good injectors.
I would step up to at least the SVO 30# (which run @36# on our 58psi)though for your mods. You do not really want to be running over 80% duty cycle. imo
I am doing the same upgrade on my 2000 Vert. I asked LAPD the same question a week ago and they said don't change them unless it leans out when they do the tune. Stock ones should be fine according to Al.

I was told the same thing. Unless you are to lean and cannot be tuned out then say with the stock.
