On the side of pan, BUT make sure it is running and level and operating at about 120 degrees before you open plug this is the drain and fill hence it must be running when you check it I top mine off with a small oil squirt can with tranny fluid in it if you have a problem email me and I will call you back
Good Luck but keep it FULL it is real touchy with low fluid

is your cooler in addition to or is it in place of?
id like to put 1 on my vert and way oversize it, and use it in place of the radiator trans cooler. here in so cal i dont think id ever have a "too cold" problem. has anyone ever done this and what temps does it run now?
why heat it to 180-220 degrees when 120-160 would be fine?

Razor: how did you install the cooler; did you cut a line?

The cooler is a addition I did have to cut the lines. I removed the lines out of the raditaor where the rubber hose section is then used a pipe cutter to cut the ends off and spliced in the tranny cooler hoses. It was a littel tricky but I wanted a clean install. No leaks and looks good works well I recomend installing one for sure just need to top the tranny off. To make it easer I removed the air fliter and raditor shroud mounted it to the A/C condenser in the center.
