Help!!!
Hey guys...been a while since my last post....but my problem is I took a trip up to Conn. this weekend from MD. took about 5 hours to get there, averaged about 80 mph and on the way my trans fluid temp got really high. Now on the way back it got up to like 278 then it just said hot. I was about 5 minutes from my house when it started saying hot and the car started surging so i pulled over and let it cool down for about 15 minutes. When i pulled back on the highway it shifted hard into 2nd gear and wouldn't go any higher..so there I was driving on the highway in 2nd gear going about 40 mph. When I got home I pulled into the garage and went in a little to far so I put it in reverse....NO REVERSE!!! what's going on with my car? This happen to anyone else, any suggestions as to what I need to do? Thanks
