Default ????FAST intake 90mm or 78mm????

I have a 98 LS1 that I am trying to get up to speed with these darn Mustangs (is it safe to say that "M" word in this forum?). My car is mostly stock except helltch stinger and soon to have LG headers. I am looking for either a 90 or 78 intake and throttle body. What is the difference and what is recommended for my application?

I just ordered a 90mm Nick Williams TB & FAST LSX intake. I've heard many positive things regarding this combo. I've heard that Nick Williams makes a 90mm TB that seems to provide a nice HP gain at the rear wheels. I figured I'd get a bigger intake to match up with the TB. If I can gain between 20-25 RWHP with this combo I'd be ecstatic. Good luck I know the feeling about those pesty 'Stangs.

I heard that the 90 FAST intake is really only good for stroker engines... any truth to that???

Is that figure over and above an LS6 intake or a stock LS1?

20 to 25 on the 346 depending on what else you have and this is above the ls6 intake, I got at least 35rwhp on my stroker--the NW TB is the way to go the TPIS is virtually untuneabale depending on where you live as there are a few of our tuners who can do it but the NW is much easier to tune. Tuning it for power is not a problem its getting the damn things to maintain an idle etc thats the prob. The ls2 motor is a 364ci which of course is only 18inches bigger and they come with a 90mm.

Thanks for the great ideas, but I really like the look of the FAST. As well as the porformance aspect. I just cant decide 90 or 78. But from all these opinions I think I am going with the 78mm. Thank s for the Help guys!!

If you indeed go with the 78mm, I work with a guy that has a brand new one for sale. He is asking $700 shipped (lower 48 states). It will save you roughly $100-$120. I posted it (w/ pictures) recently on the For Sale forum. Do a search if interested. Let me know if interested!
