I have an intermitent signal light problem on my 2001.
I have narrowed it down to the hazzard light switch in the dash board.
If I move the hazzard switch around or shim it with a folded business card the signal lights will work.
Has any body had this problem and how hard is it to replace the hazard switch?
have you ever taken the center dash consol off? sounds like the connection to the hazard switch is not connected fully or is bad. If you havn't maybe taking it off to get a look is a good idea...real simple to do
It's not too hard if you do the brute force way, which leaves the dash in place. I posted in a thread about how to do this, and I'll go see if I can find it.
Or, you can pull the whole dash, but that sounded like a bit much for this fellow.
Darn it, I found one of the threads, but with the hardware problem here on the forum recently, the pictures are not yet back up. Hopefully they'll be up soon enough.
