TCS error code
I spun out a bit turning a corner yesterday, the TSC was on and was activated. About .5 mile later, the IPC dinged and said service traction system, and turned on the ABS and TCS light.
When I got home I pulled the code and got a 1226. Right Front speed sensor out of range apparently. I cleared the code, and so far (30 mile drive to work today this morning) it has not come back.
Is this something I need to worry about? I seem to remember that the car has to roll a certain amount for the speed sensors to sync. Does this apply to a 1999 car without JL4 Active Handling?
