Oil pressure sending unit (pressure sensor) is bad. I have taken it to the dealer to fix. Told me about 375.00 to fix.
I have seen that this is a common problem with the C5's (via the forum)
I am in touch with GM's customer service to see if they can do anything about this...because there has not been a recall.
I know at least 1 forum member that got part of his costs to repair this back from GM. (RedRider98 - he is the one who told me to call)
the pornt that I am getting to is that I told the Service rep that I would get names if necessary.... to coroborate (spelling?) my side of the issue.
Will be looking for help if the time comes.
Thanks

I am not very mechanically inclined for the DIY projects. No tools to do it either. I see all of the tech tips and I am grateful, but need some practical experience so I don't mess things up. Is there anyone in the Boston, Ma area that has some time to help out. Would definitely like to be capable of the DIY stuff, but fear of making a bad situation worse.
Please let me know if anyone can help. Thanks for all of the feedback.
When it comes to the On hands this is me
