New DeWitts. Refill procedure please
Does anyone have the procedure handy to refill and purge the cooling system? I just ordered a DeWitts and I want to get ready for the install. I know a bunch of you guys have done this so is there tricks or problems that I should be aware of?

The crossover pipe on the LS1 alllows all the coolant to be refilled. You will need (1) additional gallon of 50/50 coolant. Slow pour coolant into the tank and replace cap. Start engine and run at 2000 RPM until coolant comes up to temp, let idle for a few minutes. Turn-off engine. Slowly rotate cap to bleed-off air. Drive around, and do the bleed-off as above a few times.
