BPMV Pump Motor Stalled...what next?

Hi,

Has anyone had the code C1243, BPMV Pump Motor Stalled? The Service ABS and Service Traction Control also lights up on my dash every time that my traction control is triggered.

Does this mean that I need a new motor? I hope not, as it's nearly $1400.

I now also have the C1281 code - steering sensor uncorrelated malfunction in addition to the code in my original message. Looks like my traction control or ABS is falling apart.

Any ideas on what I'll need to fix this?

More than likely a faulty EBCM.This is the cover kit that mounts on the BPMV

Still pricey,but less than $1,400...

Thanks for the info.

Any idea what part number the EBCM is for a '98 without Active Handling? CM stands for Control Module, correct?
