Default 2000 C5 vibration only between 800-1600 rpms

I can feel it in the shifter and in my feet/butt. Anyone have any clue what it could be? I dont notice it on accel but I do notice it when reving in neutral. Clutch in or out doesnt matter. Any in put is appreciated.

Thanks

Your exhaust is proubly touching some where on the body look really close and make sure no clamps are touching also

loose clamp, heat, settling, speed bump?? After my header and exhaust install I had the same symtoms and it turned out to be a pipe that was too close to the fuel tank shield. Its free and would only take a second to check.

Look again. Check the flanges where the over the axle pipes connect to the h-pipe section. The welds here are known to be bad on many Vettes.

You won't be able to tell the weld is broken just by looking. It'll LOOK like a perfect weld. Reach up there and shake the pipe and see if the pipe moves in the flange.

Even the factory install can loosen if subjected to enough potholes. I know someone whose muffler fell off the car on a long trip.
