I was wondering if there is any adjustment for the spark plug wires ...ie. Coil packs moved an 1/8 of an inch? headers on manifold or bolt to bellhousing??
I have heat soxs on and even with them the wires keep melting? Tried both Taylor or stock wires ?
I only need to shift the drivers side spark plug wire nearest the fire wall a quarter of an inch as it keeps melting as its resting on the header tube and melting..?
The drivers side spark plug wire is touching the header and even with the heat sox they are melting..
Is there an adjustment on some portion of the installation that might rectify wire from melting..?
Right now I replaced the wire again..and took off the heat sox this last time and replaced with metal spark plug protector, because I replaced yet with another spark plug wire ( with heat sox's on I toasted the rear most spark plug wire) and am trying the metal spark plug protector with a new wire temporarily..
I could use advice on how to slightly alter the position of the last spark plug wire so its not so close or laying against the rear most header pipe on the drivers side..and melting..

Well short of flip flopping the wire...on the MSD wires the boot is longer on the plug end than the coil end...the coil packs are pretty much set unless you try and drill new holes to shift them..can you tie the wire off to something?? Do you have a pic of the situation to make this a little easier...
I wrapped my headers and they actually can be touched for a brief moment. They are ceramic coated, so that helps a bit. You could remove the header and dimple them at the spot that it touches the spark plug boot. A medium ball peen works wonders. Just be careful not to crack any welds on the flange.
I have been running headers with cool socks for years and never had a problem. My headers get 500 to 700 deg at an idle. Are you sure that your tuning isnt way off creating a lean condition? that would really heat up the headers and melt the wires.
