problems with my supermaxx's
i got my supermaxx headers installed about 2 months ago. I also have a vararam, MTI stealth I cam, and corsa pace car catbacks. My problem is that my car reaks of exhaust. I have taken it back to RevXtreme to have them look at the cats to see if they were burned out and they said they were fine. If i drive with the windows down i can smell it, and then when i get to work, my coworkers can smell the exhaust on me. What can it be? Im about ready to take the headers off and either go stock or to a new kit. please advise.

I really feel for you. I remember when ALL headers use to leak, now it's most of them still leak and a few don't. It's almost just worth staying with the newer style stock exhaust manifolds. I had to hand lap my header flanges for 5 weekends and had the low spots TIG welded and then re-lapped the flanges until they were as flat as stock manifolds..now they don't leak, but that's after many hours of hard labor. I did spend some time matching the gaskets and ports to the heads. I'm not sure if leaks are your problem, but I would be willing to say they might be.

It sure sounds and smells like a header leak. If your co-workers can smell exhaust odor on you, then it's getting inside the car when you drive. That's bad news because of CO. Have the installer put the car on a lift and check for leaks with it running.
