Oil pressure pegged @ 64psi

Default Oil pressure pegged @ 64psi
I started my car up today and noticed the oil pressure guage sweep around as normal and come down to 40 and slowly move to 64psi. This is with the car off or on. Would a bad sensor cause this?

Its actually not that uncommon to have them go bad. If you need any help removing the intake let me know
